Kendra Kessler

Kendra Kessler was born and raised in Oregon. In 2017, Kendra and her husband relocated to New Jersey, along with their 3-year old and 9-month old daughters (now 7 and almost 5). They spent 2 years in the Morristown area before moving to South Orange in June 2019. 

 

Kendra has a masters degree in accounting from the University of Oregon and spent 5 years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving onto portfolio management  where she spent 10 years in investor reporting and managing the back-up servicing department. In late 2019, Kendra decided to take a break and step away from corporate life and focus on her family and young daughters.

 

Since stepping away, Kendra has enjoyed being able to get involved with her kids' school. In 2019, she chaired the Annual Fund for South Mountain, then in 2020 joined the PTA as Vice President of Fundraising, and in 2021 will move into the role of PTA President. She has also enjoyed being able to volunteer as a class parent and volunteering as a cookie manager for her daughter's daisy troop. 

 

Kendra is excited for this next opportunity to get involved in the community and work with the Foundation for the South Orange Public Library.
